Philippians 2:4-10 says - Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Praise God as we face times in our lives when pain and hurt are so real and prevalent that it is hard to focus on God’s caring hands. Lynnda and I have walked this path over the Christmas Season in the loss of our two sisters. Our hearts are still broken but we stand on the promises of Jesus found in the passage above. The God of peace walks along side of us and brings us under His protection and comfort in all aspects of our lives.
When you face life’s troubles and we all know that we all will at times. We can rest assured that God cares, Jesus intercedes for us, and the Holy Spirit keeps us together
Praise His Holy Name
